Transfering music from Itunes to my windows media?

I am trying to put music on a friends MP3 player(non Ipod) and am having issues in doing so on Itunes. Is there a way to transfer my songs from Itunes over to media player?
 
janky (by janky i mean anything not ipod) mp3 players can usually have music put on them by going into my computer and selecting the device. usually under the name removable disc/drive or if the device has a name its under that. then just like any other folder select the songs in itunes and drag them into the device. make sure to check for a music folder in the device. there may be a folder called music or songs or whatever you might want to put the songs in there
