Transferable warranty / service agreement on pre owned Ducati

So I bought a super clean 11 month old 2009 848 2 weeks ago. It's a Ca bike but not from the LA area. Can someone clarify how the 2 year warranty works on a pre-owned Ducati? I am asking because I understood the bike also came with of the free one year service agreement. I've already put a 1000+ miles on it since I picked it up and I should hit 7500 miles within 2-3 weeks. I am hoping the 7500 mile service will be covered even though I am not the original owner. TIA
 
the 2 years factory warranty is from the first day the bike was registered, as far as the free year service.....was it granted through ducati or the dealer were the bike was bought from?
