Transfer Student---What should be my college essay on...please give details to the best ability.?

i have a 3.7 in a community college and im a first year...much better than highschool in which i had a 2.2 with a 1280 SAT score....in college, i have received better grades and all i care about is school now....i wanna transfer into a college...some r hard to get into like college of the holy cross...and im thinking of clark university too....what should i write my college essay that would be the best...college of the holy cross is really hard to get into so i need an essay to explain why i did bad in highschool and how ive matured...help please and give suggestions
