I am working on a remote resource management solution for a Coop. We will be using some form of tablet, Motorola Zoom, Galaxy Tab, or dare I say it... iPads. Besides tracking our mobile devices, we want to be able to send files out to the mobile device, which will then transfer it to the mobile applicator computer. The applicator computer is a Agco Falcon II controller, which appears to be windows 98se based. My problem is transfering from the modern tablet to the controller. The iPad is basically not an option for this reason alone. The Droid tablets, unlike their earlier phone counterparts, will not work as Mass Storage Devices if plugged in via USB, instead they want to use MTP or be a media device, they do not have the mass storage setting. So I must either determine a way to get the tablets to appear as a mass storage device when plugged in, or transfer the files via bluetooth to the Windows 98 device. The later idea would be handy, one less wire strung through the cab and to the devices. Is there any windows 98se bluetooth file transfer software? Everything I have tried thus far that claims to be compatible with 98 won't install, it errors saying it require 2000 or newer. Any wire or wireless solutions would be great!
Another option, if anyone knows of such a device... a storage device that can have files sent to it directly from bluetooth, that could be plugged into the applicator computer via usb as a mass storage device.
Thanks for any ideas or help!
