The Novel Porno is superb. Probably slighter better than the Original Novel. I prefered it mainly because it featured more of Sick Boy as the lead character. I wonder how this will look when scripted and filmed. I will keep my fingers crossed.

Looks like they only want to do it if it's with the original cast as well, which is a good sign.

Trainspotting is a better book than Porno but Porno is still a good read with good characters, good humour and a good plot. It might be harder to translate this to screen than TS though especially if they have different actors playing the main characters. They better not cut the other main characters like Juice Terry, Rab, Nicki etc just because they were not in the original as it will lose alot. Porno is very different to TS. There might be a temptation to heighten Begbie and Renton's role more in the film as they were the stars of TS and only really feature in Porno majorly at the end even if they are in the background of the plot. Most of the book is about Sick Boy and Nicki.

Porno is set, what nine years after trainspotting, so its easy enough to do (I read they were waiting for the actors to age enough to do it). So I don't see a problem about getting them to do it.
