I am really hoping someone can help!
I am hoping to complete a legal secretary diploma, and I live in Edinburgh, Scotland. The only place in Scotland that I do this (that I know of) is Pitman training, but their course fee is over £2000. I found a place I can do it distance learning for £495 but it's an English based company and so therefore would be learning English Law. If I was to do the course, does anyone know if i'd be employable at all in Scotland? And if not would there be a smaller course that I could do to top up my knowledge so i could also work as a legal secretary in Scotland? I imagine there would be some thing like this around as there are bound to be legal secretaries that come from different countries, as well as England, to work in Scotland and doubt they would have to re-train completely. Any help or advice would be great.
