I took the Harbor Freight utlitlity trailer and a roof rack mounted carrier i got about 250 rolled in the whole project. It seals and is good for road trips lots of storage. I pull it with an 88 semi stock. The trailer isnt the prettiest thing but it was easy to build and nice to pull.
 
Picked up our Aluma in the fall of '03 and now have over 80K on it. Added radial tires @35 psi. We run the shocks on the bike @ 28 psi. I've never really check the tongue weight, if it fits we throw it in. She tracks and pulls like a dream. We've run in a lot of different conditions over the years and it's never made me uncomfortable having it behind me.
