What are good tragic love stories I can read.
Something like Tristan and Isolde, and Romeo and Juliet.
and please don't give me that vampire series.

I read this at about 13 or 14 and cried buckets at the end. Its set in the USA during ww2. A girl named Patty who lives on a farm in Arkansas "befriends" a German Prisoner of War
 
Romette and Julio i cant remember the author but its a pretty good book it share similarities with Romeo and Juliet but its not too alike
