When I first started MA again, this time in the form of MMA, I sneered the thought of doing traditional martial arts again like I had before. But as time went on, my jujutsu teacher, inspired me to look more into tradition to better understand MMA.
He was telling me about when he grew up, he found a martial art school, his teacher was from japan and his master only accepted 1 new student, like the way he made it sound, he was practically being taught in japan, he was very traditional. My question is, where can I find a school like this? Do they not exist anymore? It seems like everything is commercialized and family oriented now. Any opinions welcome.
