trading a car. help:)?

i have a 2006 chrysler. i am about to be 18 and i really don't think i need such a new car. besides my mom is paying the insurance and i would like to help. my car payments are like 200$ a month.(i'm paying that) i was just wondering if i took my car to a dealership and found something they would trade mine in for that i liked would it mess her credit score up? that's her only worry about this.

Not at all. It would show as a paid-off loan on her credit. However she would need to cosign the next loan, or finance it herself on the new car. Just turning 18, you have no credit history on your own and wont be able to get a loan.
