I currently have a 88 civic dx sedan I was looking at trading or selling for something a little more sporty, it is all completely stock, I have had to do some work to it just to get it in good shape. There is someone that is wanting to trade me a 91 hatchback. That is all I really know about it, says it has a d15a1 dual point engine. I think they may of meant d15b1 possibly which has only 70 horsepower. Lets say both cars are in the same condition and everything, would it be really a more sporty car with over 20 less horsepower? Unless I looked the specs up wrong with this car, it looks like the horses dropped over the few years between 88 and 91. I am thinking that possibly the hatchback would also weigh less, I just have no idea which would probably best suit me since I am mainly wanting more speed, but not everyone is rich and can afford a lambo.
