Trade unions focus most of their energy on the terms and conditions of their members... fair enough.
But, industrial action (not just a demo) but real strike action on a wide scale could force governments to do what is in the interest of all people.
The environmental issues affect everybody, but if we leave it up to the profiteers nothing effective will get done.
