Toys that grow in the water health hazards? (Cat)?

My cat just drank water from the bowl that my mother left on the table with my little brother's toys in it.. (The toys are the ones that you put into water and they grow bigger over the course of three days)
Is this poisonous? I tried to look it up but I couldn't find anything, so any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks.
