I have a 2006 toyota tacoma x-runner. It has a vvt-i engine in it...from the research that i have done you can only use 91 octane gasoline in this vehicle? Is this true? Can i use regular gasoline with this engine? Or am i getting my facts wrong? Would i be able to use 89 octane instead of 91? Where i live it cost me 3.35 per gallon for 91 octane...is it possible to maybe mix both 91 and 87 together?
