I have a 2001 Toyota Sequoia, 97k miles sr5. When I drive in lightly snow coated roads (~.5") when i accelerate from a stop light i hear a pronounced (sorta but not exactly) grinding noise and the Slippery road (not vsc) light blinks and i dont have full control over acceleration Driving 2WD. When i switch to 4WD the problem is solved 90% of the time. After a snow storm, i backed it out of the driveway (4WD) and it was good until i accelerate while turning (4" snow) or if i try to go over ~7+" of snow, keep in mind the ground clearance is well over that and it should be able to pass through. Any ideas why? Main problem: scary somewhat grinding noise after accelerating and/or turning, lose of control briefly and blinking "slippery road" light. Any answers? desperate for answers...
