And if you're a salesman, that's fine, but I don't buy off the internet -- just looking for info -- thanks.
Interesting answers, so far -- thanks! I'll leave my question open for a while. I'm not in a big hurry to get a car, unless mine falls apart, which is generally what happens to me, so I'd like to do some research first. ;-)

First off, I'd like to recommend you check out PriusChat.com These guys are very friendly people, and have really helped me out with any questions I've had in the past. There's more information on those forums than you'll ever need to know, but it's all there!

My .$.02 - I drive a Prius day in and day out, and let me tell you, don't listen to anyone who badmouths this car. There are police departments using the Prius as squad cars since they are so durable. My daily commute takes me up to 120 miles a day, and paying less than half as much for a tank of gas, and then having it last nearly twice as long as any other drivers I know is a HUGE bonus. Also, while many other manufacturers are just now getting into the hybrid market and hopping on the "green" bandwagon Toyota has been doing this for years already. They released the Prius which was the first hybrid in the U.S. and they were selling them in other countries before that. They know their technology, and are the best people at putting it to work very efficiently. If you want a very reliable, fun, but practical car that will be very easy on your wallet and has lower maintenance than a regular, non-hybrid vehicle, buy a Prius. They are truly amazing vehicles.

Edit - In my Prius, I average 58mpg with the cruise control on :)
