Toyota Prius 2002 check engine light?

I bought the car and drove it 50 miles. All was great.

Had some body work done on it and the battery was disconnected. WHen I got it back the check engine light came on.

I noticed the inverter reservior was low on fluid. Haven't put fluid in it yet.

I also pulled the red kill switch in the trunk down the forgot to put it back on then tried to start it. Now the warning light about the battery comes on.

Any suggestions about the check engine light?
How do I get the warning light to go off?
