since the naturally aspirated sw20 has a 2.2 litre engine, if i add an ordinary turbo to it (not some high end professional turbo or anything), will it be stronger (or faster or have more horse power or whatever the term is for powerful or whatnot... you get the point) than a stock turbocharged 2.0 litre sw20?
because i heard generally the larger the engine litre thing, the more powerful the car is, though in turbos, i heard they've actually extracted more power in a smaller engine with a turbo (that's why they produced a turbocharged model with only a 2.0 litre engine). but what if i added a turbo to the 2.2 litre, vs the stock 2.0 turbo, would the 2.0 litre mr2 still be better?
