Toyota MK3 supra vs Bugeye(02-03) Subaru Impreza WRX STi.?

Ok im thinking of gettuing a car soon, and im looking for one that will be able to run with a Stock '06 STi and a supercharged Mustang Gt. In the 1/4 mile, maybe auto x, and just messing around at stop lights and rolling starts. But i can't afford an STi, dont want a v8. So im thinking of getting a late (latest i can get) mk3 supra or a bugeye WRX. Which one of these is the fastest stock, and can be made the fastest for the cheapest amont of money. and just a list of pros and cons. And any other car suggestions.
 
I mean, I am guessing you arent talking about the twin turbo supra since you cant afford an sti. If I had to choose between a WRX and a Non Turbo Supra... I would go with the WRX. Its faster, and has AWD. If you have money though go with the Supra, but you said you dont... so id get the WRX. Supra upgrades will be cheaper, but if you want a really fast supra, its gonna cost you around 15k
