Toyota landcruiser overheats..?

I have a 3.0 td automatic 1997 toyota landcruiser colorado which drives spot on and in normal use is fine however if i tow something- ie another car,even a small one, or a caravan etc it overheats and can do within only a few miles..It doesnt use any water,oil is correct colour etc so can it be something like a worn water pump..????..any experience of this fault and its cure..??

water pump leak when bad most of time dirty radiator wil be problem try removing radiator take to a radiator shop have them clean it out

You have the Seacruiser model thats why it overheats. Take it to the coast.

Could be that the oil cooler for the auto box is not working well or maybe the oil cooler for the engine needs to be upspeced for towing
