My 2001 Toyota Echo has been a dream car. Little upkeep...still gets above 35 mpg after 93,000 miles...However, recently, the fan that blows the heat and A/C chooses when it wants to work. Sometimes I will start the car and the fan blows fine, and sometimes it won't turn on at all. The A/C button light illuminates and all electrical items on the dash appear to be working. I find it odd that it is so intermittent...If it was a problem with the A/C, I would expect it to start blowing warm air. This doesn't make any sense to me...does anybody know what the issue is?
