I've got a 2006 Dodge Stratus that has been giving me problems lately after only owning it since August. I just saw a 98 Toyota Corolla available at a dealership for $3000. It looks better than my Stratus and gets way better gas mileage.
I have two questions:
I have a 99 Oldsmobile that runs well and looks nice that I want to trade for it. I know it's not worth $3000, but I'd get like $1800 for it. Do dealerships do trades for cars they got as trade ins? I'd then sell my Stratus.
Either that or trade in my Stratus and just take the loss. I did just buy tires for it not even a month ago. But insurance and gas for it are ridiculous. It would be lower insurance on an older car, and the Toyota is way better on gas.
