hi,
i have a corolla 06 and it is misfiring
i checked spark + coils and they are all good
i checked fuel injectors and there is fuel
when i check compression the first cylinder give 0 and the rest of the 3 give approx 150 psi
doesn't this show that the valve in cylinder 1 is no good.
my question is that this engine is a vvti and does that mean that the valves are controlled by the computer. can this problem be a computer problem or not.
because on youtube someone has the same problem with an 06 corolla and it came out to be a computer (dont now about compression part) link is below for video:

yeh today i took off the head and found that the first cylinder valve has a nice chip in it that were all the compression is leaking
