I have a Toyota corolla 1.6 vvti and the head gasket went 2 months ago. Instead of getting head gasket sorted I put a new engine of same kind in. The knock sensor is missing and the car is showing engine management light due to the knock sensor.
Now the problem is that the car is not picking up speed as it used to do with first engine. To reach up to 50mph it takes longer than before and on inclined road sometimes I have to change the gear to 2nd from 4th even if the car was at good speed.
Can anyone give me an idea of what is wrong with my car?
