TOYOTA CELICA COMPARISON HELP!!! YEAR/MODEL/DETAILS?

ok so i was looking at some pictures and i noticed that some of the celicas i was looking at had the toyota logo in a small hole one the front and some were flat with the logo on it,,,,whats the differnce cuz i looked at them by year and there seems to be no connection...so is it some kind of optional thing that some people got???..and also which year is best (because we all know that just because its newer doesnt mean its better)--and which ones better..gt or gts?---00-05 plz
