I have a 1989 Toyota Camry, 4 cylinder, fuel injected.
I've had problems lately with my car in the rain. It seems every time I drive the car in the rain, after about 20 minutes the car starts to sputter (low idle) then when I try to give it a bit of gas, the car has a seizure like sputtering. It's died once in the rain, but the next day it started fine and drove for another week in the cloud and sun. But then another rainy day came and it started sputtering and choking again, so I pulled it over to the side and let it idle for 20 minutes then it ran again (and got me home).
I've changed the rotor cap, and cleaned out the valve cover (it had some oil in it), but its still having problems.
Could it be the Distributor cap and wires? Or a fuel related problem?
Thanks ahead!
