I have a 96 Toyota Camry LE car. My transmission oil seems to be empty.
I am just wondering whether I should add transmission oil when car is off or on.
I understand that normally oil should not be empty and I will need to fix the car but as a temporary solution I will just add oil right now.
Thank you all for replying.
Yes I just used the wrong word - it is transmission fluid.
I drove the car from for about 10 min, switched it off and then switched back on and checked after a minute.
I had checked last week too. it shows almost no fluid on the dip stick.
