toyota camry 97 only tail light not working?

it seems to be the same light as the brakes tried changing light bulbs, brakes still worked but not tail light. changed fuse from inside car, but it blew right away. all lights work exept tail. please help
 
if you replace the fuse and it blows so quickly, than that means there is a short. you can find this by checking the integrity of all the wires leading to the broken fixture. anything that could have happend to pinch the wires to make a direct connection? like an accident? or anytihng that could cause damage to the wires... find them quickly by following the wire from the fixture back. usually shorts will happen close to the fixture or the fuse box... let me know

the bulb socket could have the short inside of it... make sure that theres not a direct connection between both terminals.
 
it might be the tail light socket. Look at the metal connectors inside the socket and see if they are discolored, it could be a sign that it is faulty. hmmm but then again you changed the fuse and it blew...you might have a short. Thats a tough one, you should take it to a electrician
