hi all! i have a 1998 s reg Toyota avensis 1.8 petrol.it starts fine.wen the engine is cold it revs up to 6000 rpm absolutely fine.wen the engine get to the operating temperature which is just under the half of the temperature gauge, it does not go over 2500 rpm and feels like its losing power.and the power does not cut off. drives fine if u keep the revs under 2000 rpm.transmission is automatic.HELP PLEASE!!!
