Toyota Accelorator pedal?

My mum is seriously ill in hospital after being involved in a crash. The accelerator pedal got stuck on her 2009 toyota Yaris. Can we sou Toyota? We didn't know about the recalls until yesterday.

I,m sure that there are few people who got in accidents who are not suing Toyota. Toyota is in trouble because they tried to cover the whole thing up....on some they said floor mats caused problem but there were also electrical changes made whern car brought in.

The Yaris was not involved in any way with any of the recent recalls due to a sticking gas pedal. You can always sue if you believe the accident was caused by a defect.

You need to see a solicitor for advice but it will most likely be down to her insurers to deal with it.
