Toy Story BluRay query

I have noticed that Toy Story 1 and 2 are being released on BluRay soon.

I would have thought they would have been in 3-D.
They must have spent alot of time making the originals into 3-D and only got a week/2 weeks release.

I would love to see them in 3-D but was unable to see it at the cinema.

Is a 3-D release scheduled?
 
Theyve already been released on Blu Ray.
As for 3D, whats the point, its pants in the current red/blue glasses format thats used on DVD and Blu Ray.
 
They probably will be - on the new 3D Blu-ray format. Expect to start seeing them by the end of the year.

Of course you'll have to buy a new TV and blu-ray player (unless you have a PS3) too :D
 
Was in Tesco last night and had seen the Toy Story 1 & 2 DVRAB have been released. They say they're special edition however they're
 
WHAT :eek: that's terrible. I seen them last night and was thinking to myself that pricing is crazy. I thought maybe it was 1 AND 2 then i seen toy story 2 beside it that's wild like.
 
I could be wrong but last time i was at the cinema i am sure the posters said the Toy Story films would be in 3D in April.....could be wrong though.
 
its not possible. first of all you'd need a 3d tv, none are out right now. second you'd need a 3d ready bluray player.
120hz minimum for each.. not interpolated.
and lcd shutter goggles.

any "3d" released before was that color code 3d garbage which is about as bad as the 3d in childrens coloring books and comics.

toystory was rerendered for 3d so the resolution was increased for bluray, the originals original render was slightly lower resolution i believe. that is fixed now.
 
You sure thats the Blu Rays? The DVRAB look like they are part of the sale but I'm not sure the BD's are.
For that price if the BRAB are in the sale, I'm getting those - international versions or not.
 
Definitely the Blurays which also come with a dvd too.

I was going to get the US Blurays but at that price I'll live without the US flag
