towing with a jeep grand cherokee v6 without a tow package?

have a 8x10 enclosed trailer about 1100 pounds that i use to tow two gsxr's sport bikes for track days and gear around. I do not have a tow package but I did install a class three hitch. Will i have any problems with this setup anything I should know or consider. I will typically not two more than 300 -400 miles in a trip once a month, maybe 1400 trip once a year. I can live with how slow it is and the high reving but should i be worried
will the engine staying constantly around 3k rpm be ok, this is at about 70 on the highway
the trailer is 1100 plus all the gear and bikes
