towing a caravan with a Honda cr-v 2.0i es executive automatic car?

Does anyone out there have a Honda cr-v 2.0i es executive automatic, who pulls a caravan. If so what is the weight of the caravan and does the car struggle to pull it being an automatic.The reason why i ask is i have found out that the pulling weight of these cars is only 1200kgs, has anyone pulled above 1200 kgs.
 
Honda don't rate the car to tow more than 1200kg* which is pretty light for a reasonable caravan, buy a larger car.
*tow a heavier caravan and you would void your insurance!

ps automatics are ideal for towing if the weight is right.
