Tour pack, paint or not? Pics anyone?

SO, I have a chopper blue Road glide....
Since getting rid of my Ultra, I have missed my trunk, even though I wanted it removable.....
My RG, has the docking kit already on it.. I found a Gloss black King pack...
snapped right on, great price, etc...
So now I have my trunk when I want it, it doesnt match, kinda how I thought I wanted it too... so I wouldnt be apt to just leave it on there.... but they are just so Darn nice to have.. lol...
I know its my bike, do what I want etc....
but thats why I like these forums, to see others opinions ideas and such...
Would you paint it to have it look good and match..
or just leave it black and Utilitarian in nature?
My friend is a dern good painter, and to get it done, id only need a bit of an investment... supplies, and a lil for him.....
or get the whole bike done.... lol...

Anyhow, anybody got pis of what a chopper blue tour pack would look like if it were matched correctly... would it have the RG stripe in it somewhere, or just a few colored grey patches like on regular two tone glides?
T.I.A. for any input.
 
Take advantage of the "friend discount" & get it painted. Seen quite a few who haven't & it just doesn't look right...especially if you plan to use quite a bit. Best to make everything match...really like the blue & whitewalls w/your RG.
 
Keep it black and plaster it with "road trip" stickers. I had a box that I transfered from bike to bike for years that I did that with - always received lots of comments.
 
Paint it; you could still put stickers all over it, though I wouldn't do that either... you have a sharp Road Glide... paint the Tour-Pak, especially since you could have it done for almost nothing.

looks as though i am going to paint it...
i just wish i knew how to match it correctly.. as far if it should just all be blue or have any gray accents in it?

..... if it were me (at 1 time it was) i'd leave it solid color.



... that said, the CVO's this year have a little arrow of accent color coming off the front, check it out, might work for ya.
