I want to do a tour of the South Island of New Zealand, and my options are either to go with a hop-on hop-off tour bus, but then still organise accommodation in back packers, or go with a camper van.
I am single, and so although the bus would be more social, it doesn't always stop for everything. I have also placed an ad for a travel companion for if I decide to go with the camper.
Can you give your own experience, or pro's and con's for both please.
