Hey guys, long story short I want to get rid of my iPod and my t290a(nothing against the phone, very reliable ) and switch it for one unit.

Now, I am buying used, and I am basically between 2 phones.
First of which is a Motorola v1050. I can get it for 130 canadian. I have been reading reviews and such, but would want to know from people first hand. I would like to use this phone as a phone(obviously), and a mp3 player(and no, i dont expect 2000000gb's of songs :P ). I want to know if when I am not using headphones, can this phone play the songs through the built in speakers.(may be a dumb question, but I am new to higher end phones)

The second is a Motorola e398/rokr. I have read millions of reviews. And still not 100% sold on either of the phones. I think I do want to switch to a flip phone, as I like trying different things.

So can anyone with first hand experience of the v1050 please give me some first hand reviews?

Thanks guys

it should be able to play the songs through the speakers the rokr is more a music phone and has up to a 512mb card and also the e398 these are more music phones the rokr has a 100 song itunes limit on it you can read the specs for these phone on gsmarena.com.

ya it should support them but im not 100% sure. if you would like to know, i know where you can find the answer. go to www.motomodders.net and go the the e398/i398/ROKR subforum and search there. if you still cant find it, sign up and post a thread asking if its supported. i would assume it does but like i said, im not 100% sure since its a Moto...

Many phones have been having problems with the 2gb cards which is why they took so long to be released (they were waiting for compatible phones). I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't work with the 2 gig.
