Touchscreen

I have recently begun to have problems with my touch screen. If I touch the filed that I want the highlight is either below or above that point.

I have gone to preferences several times now to re-digitize. If I touch the center of each target I can't stop the loop. The targets just keep moving. I have even tried several soft re-sets.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Do you use a screen protector?

If so, you may want to check around the edges of the screen just in case the screen protector has slipped under along the edge of your case.

I have used DigiFix for years. Even if it doesnt fix the problem automatically, it is easier to correct than the Palm Digitizer. Since I am at work, I dont have the program handy to email to you, but it is from: Cooperative Computers, Inc. (http://coopcomp.com). The version I still have is v1.2 from 2001, if that tells you anything. It has worked on all versions of Palm since then, and I am pretty sure it is Freeware. LOL

I've got the same problem as Johngies, I've also tried using Digifix to remedy it but it's not much good. OK, it's better than the Palm utility, but the big big fault is that neither of them covers the writing area - and that's where I get most of my digitiser misalignment.

Google for PowerDigi by Dmitry. If that won't fix it then it cannot be fixed. It compensates for the non linearity that develops with use (read wear) of the resistive digitizer of the TX. It uses up to 72 (I think) points of calibration. Three calibration points cannot possibly do the job if the problem is of a severe enough nature.
