Touchscreen Phone Around $200 Recommendations

We're currently in the market for a touchscreen phone costing under $200 for my sister. She's been looking around on GSMArena and I'm helping her out. So far, she's set her sights on the Samsung S5230. The phone is pretty basic and lacks Wi-Fi and GPS, so are there any other phones that are better or newer that you would recommend?

Feature-wise, she doesn't need 3G and GPS. Maybe Wi-Fi. Of course, it'd be a plus if the phone has both GPS and Wi-Fi just in case she ever needs to use it. I highly doubt she'll use GPS though as she's not really tech savvy and still in school.

MP3 music quality is not too important as she has a 2GB Sony MP3 player. I think she'll continue to use that. However, it's a plus to have good MP3 music quality.

A good quality camera and video recording is more important than the megapixels the camera has. We'd like to stay away from 2MP cameras and QVGA video recording, unless they're very good quality.

The HTC G1 and MyTouch is for T-Mobile. It's branded isn't it, and would require it being debranded and unlocked in order to use it up here in Canada.

She doesn't like the Nokia 5800 and 5530.

Hey guys, is the LG KM900 (Arena) and KM570 (Cookie Gig) any good? The KM570 is just released and here's a review. The KM900 has nicer looks and it's more high end for a feature phone and here's the review.

For the Arena, it seems it's a love it or hate it thing judging from the comments on GSM Arena. But then it's always like that on there is it not?

The first one I thought of was the Nokia 5800. You can sometimes get a great price on amazon or Dell.com for them. Dell even had the x6 for $250 recently.

My feeling about the LG Arena and Cookie, is while they are usable as featurephones, they make you thirst for a true touchscreen smartphone in the future. I kind of think of them as appetizers if true smartphones are the main buffet.

Are they bad or something? Cus I read the reviews on GSMArena and they praise both phones.

Lots of Nokias were suggested, but we probably won't get one since she doesn't like the design. She still likes the design of the Samsung S5230 despite it being pretty bad.
