Last week, I dyed my hair with Feria's "Chocolate Cherry" color--it's a deep red/purple combination to make a beautiful burgundy shade. The problem with this is that, even though I waited 48+ hours before washing and used color treatment masks and conditioners as well as cold water, the purple fades very quickly (which is to be expected of a purple-on-red dyed color).
If I redye, I'm assuming it will turn my hair very brassy as it's very red, outbalancing the purple. Is there any kind of dye or treatment that I can use for specifically touching up the purple color? I'm honestly not fond of plain red hair and I'd rather not be stuck with this color and risk damaging my hair by bleaching it and redying it another color so soon.
