Touch up paint on cars? I have about 20 very tiny small chips on my car. A

small bottle of touchup paint? from the dealer is about $200 (Mercedes). I live in an area that salts the roads in the winter and am worried about salt getting in there. Im not too concerned about the chips as they are maybe the size of two or three pinheads.

Can I just get a clearcoat bottle of something at Pep Boys and dot it in the chips? If I do that, any tips? Anything I should or shouldn't do?
