Everyone, I just learned some interesting news from freshtv's website:

It seems that after Total Drama Action there WILL be a third season titled Total Drama, The Musical!:eek: :D

What will happen is 15 contestants from the past 2 seasons will now be traveling the entire world competing in crazy challenges and wild musical numbers.

I already know that Trent is a great singer. I just hope Gwen will be just as good. Plus, I can imagine Owen trying to sing but still be off-key!:p

So, any comments? I'd like to hear what some of you think about this.:)
 
So, it's confirmed now. I can't believe it. I don't think this season will be as good without Todd and Mark, but I still have high hopes. I'm really hoping that they don't bring the same 15 back as this season. I'd love to see Noah sing :lol:
 
Emilie Claire-Barlow can sing, however, that isn't shown in Courtney yet.

Scott McCord can sing, if he's Trent.

What's more interesting is Katie Crown, Izzy's voice actress. Like I said before, she did a rock opera parody that she actually wrote, as well, and she sang pretty good, I'm just reeally curious on how she handles it as Izzy.
 
We will see where they go with these, I would like to see a mix of new and old characters, but I love the current characters, so why mess with it.

However, I think they should make a Total Drama spinoff, in which one of the characters becomes the prize in a dating reality show game. All of the contesdents would be new characters.

Who should be the prize? My candidates: Lindsay, Eva, Izzy / E-Scope, Justin, Tyler.
 
I think it's a little early to make predictions :sweat:
But yeah, the concept seems interesting. I tend do dislike musicals but I think this will be the exception...
 
The only musical I ever like is Repo! The Generic Opera, which was an awesome experience. Then again, it was a rock opera.
 
Some new news is that there are officially NEW characters in Season 3, confirmed by an interview for the Total Drama Wiki (possibly accidentally spilled). Too bad we won't know much more of it for a long while.
 
If they're bringing new characters in, I wonder if they'll also use the 7 unused holdovers from TDI
I heard Courtney is brought into TDA
, and maybe two or three from this season to bring it up to 15.
 
I'd be ecstatic if they brought back the 7 other characters and 8 new ones. Don't get me wrong, I like most of the contestants this season, but I'd like to see more from the others. The only one that I'd be really disappointed about would be Izzy but I wouldn't mind leaving the others.

There isn't any confirmation that this is real, but it sounds pretty believable to me.
 
It's real. Mark Thornton worked on Total Drama, so he must know.

It says there are only going to be a few new characters. So it sounds like most of the old ones are coming back.

Personally, I don't see how they could not bring back Duncan, Gwen, Courtney, Izzy, as they are fan favorites.
 
Ah, but it said there will be some new ones and some from Island.


I say 8 new contestants, and the return of Gwen, Noah, Izzy, Heather, Lindsay, Cody, and LeShawna.

Is it confirmed the challenges will involve the contestants singing?
