yes he sent me a pm saying 3 inch is the best for a stock sg they need a part of my bike to match the paint though so i guess i will be waiting until the fall our riding season is just starting and its fairly short so i cant lose a part of my bike for a few weeks or a month not sure how long it would take but i can wait if i have to
 
I ordered a set of 3.5's from you last Friday the 8th. I also emailed you a couple of times last week asking about the pre 08 fender. I somehow missed seeing the above post when it first was posted. What do you get for $299.00? Got any pictures? thanks . . . . . Steve
 
What you would be getting is the Trilight Fender Overlay and the proper bolts that will be needed for the install.

Two things...
do you change the drop of the fender to match what size bags I have? The link you showed me appears to have the full streach. I have the 3" (I think). I just wonder how goofy it would look if that did not match.

next, What can you do about price??? That seems a bit steep if you ask me.
