We changed the mold today! What we did was sanded down the edges that will go over the OEM fender so that the overlay would be closer to the orginal one. In doing this there is no gap between the OEM and the Top SHop Tri-Light Fender cover. Makes it look really, really good! Not that it didn't in the first place but it had to be done. Nothing else was changed on the fender that you have seen in the pictures that were posted at all. Just a better fit that's all.

I like the looks of the fender overlay. With the attention to detail such as the rolled lip and tight fit to the fender I think I maybe interested in one to go with my Top Shop 3" bags. I gotta wait though as mine is an '09.

We should be starting the fender soon, have a couple of other projects to finish up before we get the fabrication point but now that we have a bike to work with it will go fast.

Yes, everything is the same it's just closer to the OEM fender now.
