Top Shop New Style Bags

I just scraped my 4 inchers for the first time..... Took a torch to the backrest and re-bent it so the ol lady would be more comfortable. Took her for a test ride and damned if I didn't hit a bag going out the driveway. Took a nice nick out of the bottom rear edge. Glad it happened now and not in a couple of weeks, as it's all going to paint next week. I'll be making skid plates for them tomorrow. Here I've been worried about dragging in the curves, and didn't even get out the driveway......

Naw, I've been riding the hell out of it. Ol lady has only been on it twice though since adding the bags. Didn't think to check air pressure in the shocks, but don't think it would've made a difference anyways. We have a dip/bump where the driveway meets the road. Will have to pay closer attention from now on. It'll be an easy fix for the painter, and some plates should help it from happening again. I knew it would happen eventually. Just glad it did it before spending all the cash for paint.

The new fender looks good. Personally the lights are not my cup of tea. If you are going for a custom look I would do something different about the lights.

Nothing bad has been said about top Shop bags. Arlen Ness on the other hand I have only heard bad things. And for the price you would think you would get what you pay for.

These are just the pictures I was hoping for. The shot looking down shows how the radius and blend looks. I love IT! Great job. Not sure if I'm going to have you fill the diviots yet of not may still go with the Cycle vision set-up. I want the first one still

Bend your skid plates to come up over the outside edge a bit. My friend just dropped his bike and the edge got distroyed. Look at my sig picture you can see what I'm talking about

So you are saying our Saddlebag guards are wortless with these 3" extended bags?
If so, I'll take mine off.

But I didn't want to have to lay my bike down first to find out. lol

When we make the fenders the holes will be covered already. So we can leave them closed if you are wanting to put on a different light set up.
