They have several pictures of bikes that have their fender with the hardware attached. Sounds like you got some bad info. I know if you talk to Derk directly, he can clear it up. Perhaps the dealer didn't want to mess with it, so he told you no? it happens.....

Not to be mean but PM people that have questions about the BadDad parts or start another thread. I would just like to keep this orientated towards just Top Shop Bagger parts.
Thanks

Our carpet man ran out of carpet and we have to wait on a couple of bags to begin paint until it shows up. Have to finish one step before starting another. 2 other sets will be started today though.
Thanks

.....or perhaps you can start your own forum. I addressed a question regarding brackets that comes up now and then with others who may be having the same problem and perhaps find the information useful.

I think I'm just about ready to order some bags. I haven't decided on a fender yet, but I think I'll worry about that later. I'm wondering something though. I think I wanna go with the 4 inch bags. If I end up scraping, can the bags be recut shorter afterwards? I've only scraped the floorboards a couple of times, so I really don't think it'll be an issue. But I'm just curious. Also, can you guys paint them my color. Or are you just doing black? This thread is so long that I don't remember, and I don't want to go back and dig through all of it. I believe my bike is 'rich luxury red'.

With the paint that you have I would recommend you get someone of your choosing close to you to paint them for you because with that color I would have to have a piece of the bike to match it to. As far as dragging the bags if somewhere in the future you think you want to get the bags cut I see no problem with it at all, except the fact that you will have to repaint your bags. I believe we are try to have the waterjet guy cut us some skid plates by tommarow so I might be able to get you a set of those before shipping them out. I will keep everyone informed on the situation on those for the time being.

The skid plate that we are going to go with will be 7" long the other will be 20" and cover the bottom of the bag all the way to the back. We will make them out of stainless steel and carbon fiber and will be attatched with either double sided tape or 2 screws.
