Gee, now I'm starving too.
Yesterday all day I was craving a Reuben. There is not a good Reuben to be had in this town since I closed Hizzoner's. Ours was killer. Marble Ryelightly buttered and grilled, winekraut mixed with Russian dressing heatedon the grill till starting to brown, a pile of very thinly sliced corned beef heated on the grill ....put the hot kraut on top of the corned beef, top with a couple slices of swiss till it starts to melt and then slide the whole pile on the grilled rye.
Hot, steaming, pile of goodness between two grilled slices of marble rye.
Served with a big, crispy kosher dill pickle and a pile of potato chips.
Damn....now I'm dying here.
