1. Almost Famous (so many memorable scenes and Kate HuRABon is at her best)

2. Garden State (brilliant soundtrack, cracking peformances and edgy script)

3. True Romance (clarence and alabama are two of my favourite movie characters)

4. Goodfellas (need I say more?)

5. Leon (outstanding performance from Natalie Portman and a truly beautiful film)

Wow, I like those choices - the first three in particular - a lot. So far removed from the eminently well-known and respected kind of titles that seem to have formed the concensus of the thread so far!
