In my opinion only 13 (highlighted) of the top 40 are disaster films! WTF? I love Die Hard but it's a hostage action flick not a disaster flick. Titanic wasn't even mentioned!! Anyone agree?

Thank you :D I know Titanic is pants, I thought it was great in 98 though :o but it still counts as a disaster flick. Also if spoofs were included - Mars Attacks, how come there was no Airplane! A travesty!

bleeding KRAKATOA isn't even it it for flips sake!!!!

seems like 5ive just padded out the list with some of their own (con air / air force one / the rock)

leave lists like this to channel 4 ..... they KNOW how to do them properly!!!

Deep Impact is my favourite disaster film so im glad it got a good spot on the list, but in my eyes it's number one, no question. I thought it was a bit weird that Die Hard was number one though, it's definately more of an action film than a disaster film.

Some of the films on that list are random! How/why is Die Hard number 1? That's an action/thriller film, not a disaster film...I have 12 of thsoe films...LOVE Disaster films...need to get Earthquake!

I cannot believe Die Hard (shouldn't have even been in the list!) and Armageddon (especially) beat out Apollo 13, a splendid film which easily deserved the top spot.

Five must have brought in a real bunch of simpletons to concoct this list. Doesn't surprise me really.

Five are the same company "remember" who claimed the reason they brought back the Digital On-Screen Graphic to their main channel was because the survey they performed with viewers showed that the large majority of them actually preferred the presence of the logo.

In the worRAB of Sam Wheat...

"What a crock of s**t!"
