Top 3 songs you feel everyone should LOVE...

****inson is definatly the better singer but he can't convey Di'anno's raw power as you hear when he sings any of the early Maiden stuff live his voice just does not suite the songs

Mogwai - Hunted by a Freak (Probably my favorite song ever)
The Strokes & Regina Spektor - Modern Girls and Old Fashioned Men (A little known but unbelievable song)
Arctic Monkeys - Temptation Greets You Like Your Naughty Friend (Hilarious)

Ooh man, that list ain't looking good :\ If you're gonna pick universally loved classic rock songs, make sure they're universally loved first.

My new list:
Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley
Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin
1979 - Smashing Pumpkins

Replaced Canon because it is pretty boring :o:

My dear friend, nothing personal, but this thread is called " 3 songs you feel...., so there 's no general rule each of us should follow..You might not like my short list as well as I might not like yours. Do you feel so sure your songs are universally loved? Who can say that? I think that every single answer is influenced by everyone's musical tastes, so it's really hard to reach a general agreement on all the 3 songs everyone is trying to recommend.
Anyway, that's my personal opinion, nothing more..

Is this music? - Teenage Fanclub
This makes me religious, and it's a very cool break from the usually slacker songs that TF play. The guitars are just heavenly.
Peaches En Regalia - Frank Zappa
There is no song that makes me happier than this one. It's just concentrated euphoria, absolutely stunning.
Here Come the Warm Jets - Brian Eno
Oddly otherworldly, quirky. Features two drum sets that are off time, and then syncronize, and probably the best guitar line played with the best guitar sound ever. The song gives me a mixed feeling of melancholy, loss and some sort of bittersweet optimism. I guess the contrasts are what I like.

So, good songs that any well-minded music lover has no reason disliking...okay...

1) The Who - Rain O'er Me
2) The Doors - Riders on the Storm
3) Led Zeppelin - Dazed & Confused

I know they're some cliche choices, but they ain't my favorites; just three songs everyone should enjoy.
