I'd completely forgotten about School of Rock! What a fun picture.

Enchanted was actually sort of moving for a hopeless romantic like me.

Three Kings rocked.

LMS was okay.

It's one of my brothers favourites too and one he always refers to when asked what would make a grown man cry.

Thanks for the input, but I'll point out again that this is the list of my 100 favorite films, not the 100 best films ever made. These are the films that I enjoy the most and have rewatch value for me.

75. Inglorious Basterds (2009)
(Brad Pitt, Christoph Waltz)

"You probably heard we ain't in the prisoner-takin' business; we in the killin' Nazi business. And cousin, business is a-boomin'."

Brilliant movie by Tarantino. Loved the killing, loved the story. I always equate this movie with a funny story. I first watched this with my younger brother who was 20 at the time. As soon as the movie finished he turned to me and asked "So was that a true story?" I couldn't help but to laugh.

74. Cool Hand Luke (1967)
(Paul Newman, George Kennedy)

"You run one time, you got yourself a set of chains. You run twice you got yourself two sets. You ain't gonna need no third set, 'cause you gonna get your mind right."

First saw this movie in cinema class in high school and it is the movie I loved the most out of the whole class. Paul Newman is awesome.

73. Terminator 2: Judgement Day
(Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton)

"Come with me if you want to live!"

Arnolds best movie. Loved this movie since the first time I saw it. Awesome action flick.

72. Love Actually (2003)
(Alan Rickman, Liam Neeson)

"Let's go get the **** kicked out of us by love."

Yeah, I'll admit it...I'm a sucker for a good romcom. I just really like this movie. Touching flick.

71. Old School (2003)
(Luke Wilson, Vince Vaughn)

"True love is hard to find, sometimes you think you have true love and then you catch the early flight home from San Diego and a couple of nude people jump out of your bathroom blindfolded like a ******* magic show ready to double team your girlfriend..."

This is one movie that probably should be higher on my list, but I settled to put it here. Several comedies have come out since that are much funnier but when this came out it was hysterical. Still really love it.

Cool Hand Luke is on my list too, such a great film. Paul Newman was so damn sexy!

Ignore the criticism. Besides, Bad Santa rocks. Just because there's one person on the planet that doesn't think so. Life will go on.

55 through 51 are all Aces. Well done.

Have you seen Band of Brothers? A must see for Saving Private Ryan fans, I says.

Absolutely have, several times. Love it. Very interested to see if the new miniseries The Pacific is close to as good.

I find Slumdog Millionaire entertaining... but yes it's true it didn't deserve an Oscar, but the other nominations seemed a bit boring, So I'm fine with it.

Planet, I have already mentioned this to you once before on another thread. Most of us here are filmbuffs.. & not Philosophers. So we enjoy 2001 as much as we enjoy Bruce Lee & Chuck Norris films.

I for can't stand most of the animes (Which I know you love, I absolutely love Akira & Cowboy Bebop though)..
I can't stand Woody Allen. So does that make my taste in films inferior to yours?....
Nope, We are film buffs here, & so is Journeyowns.

WE ENJOY MOVIES!!...

70. Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope (1977)
(Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford)

"For over a thousand generations, the Jedi knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the old Republic... before the dark times... before the empire."

I remember watching a VHS of this my dad taped off of the TV as a kid. I watched it so many times I'd know when to scoot on over to the VCR to press fast-forward to get through the commercials before the commercial would hit. Great movie, and I'm not even really into Sci-Fi.

69. The Sandlot (1993)
(Tom Guiry, Mike Vitar)

"Let me tell you something kid; Everybody gets one chance to do something great. Most people never take the chance, either because they're too scared, or they don't recognize it when it spits on their shoes."

Another nostalgia flick from my youth AND another sports movie! Two for one! Anyway, I love this movie...alot.

68. Almost Famous (2000)
(Patrick Fugit, Billy Crudup)

"I love you. And I'm about to boldly go where... many men have gone before."

Really awesome rock n' roll tale. Really awesome cast. (Jason Lee rules!) Recommended very highly.

67. Kingpin (1996)
(Woody Harrelson, Randy Quaid)

"Just because you're familiar with the missionary position doesn't make you a missionary."

This movie always makes me laugh. I'm such a big Woody Harrelson fan and BILL MURRAY is the villain. Gotta love it.

66. Step Brothers (2008)
(Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly)

"Suppose Nancy sees me coming out of the shower and decides to come on to me. I'm looking good, got a luscious v of hair going through my chest pubes down to my ball fro. She takes one look at me and goes " Oh my god, I've had the old bull now I want the young calf" and she grabs me by the weiner."

I love the Will Ferrell-John C. Reilly tandem so so much. They are the perfect combo. This movie is hilarious.

Yeah, didn't include it because it's a miniseries. If those were included, it would have cracked the list somewhere probably.

Yes, I agree.. There are many movies I left out of my Top 100 too...
Making these Top 100 lists is damn hard... I ended up doing mine in an hour or so.

BTW part 9 of Band of Brothers was so damn shocking.. Brilliant portrayal.
I have to watch The Pacific soon.
